STORIE TELLA’s originality and lyrical abilities have garnered respect among competing Rap/Hip Hop artists. The artist has roots in Harlem’s Apollo Theatre soul, rhythm and blues music culture. Her family members were gigging there and she witnessed it all at a young age. Since then, STORIE TELLA has written, produced or collaborated on so many songs that she describes them as "chapters of me growing into an artist". Her balanced portfolio includes Rap/Hip Hop and R&B music.

Rusti Pendelton (aka Mr. Funky Fresh), the host of the Funky Fresh Radio show on the Touch 106.1 F.M radio station, who has over 20 years experience in the record industry and owns his own popular record store described STORIE TELLA’S style as "unique with plenty of swagger, commercially viable and marketable".
